Our design for Dr Jon Swain’s Periodontal Studio in Taylor Road, Nedlands, was aimed at producing a welcoming and calm Dental Surgery, with the feel of a patterned, comfortable and modern living room which could be found in any local residence.

An element of surprise awaits the patients with the Cheeky Monkey wallpaper in the waiting room, following through with stained glass windows above each Surgery entry and the continuous black ceiling tying both patient and staff areas together. This design is about creating surety, calmness and continuity for both patients and staff, where muted colour, natural vegetation and materials are to be discovered to all lines of site.
